The project focuses on the control of wastewater discharge from enterprises. The effluents of sewage system in each enterprise should meet the regulation. Therefore, the wastewater samples were taken to test, in order to know the wastewater treatment system met the regulations. Unknown pipes in the enterprises or nearby them also were examined, preventing the illegal discharge of the wastewater directly from the enterprises without any treatment. 20 volunteer river guardian patrolling were made to make sure no illegal dumping of any wastewater from factories. The project has completed 1112 times of enterprises inspection and 525 wastewater sampling. 626 discharge permits were reviewed. 10 factories were selected for a thorough examination of their wastewater treatment systems, in order to keep their system at good function. 45 unknown discharge pipes were found and removed from the enterprises. 6 meetings were held.
